I've got an original CM Stacker beastie (STC-T01-UBK) with a crossflow fan to help cool things down. I'm toying with the idea of getting a GX2 for some insane reason. I know this card should fit without the crossflow fan but would it fit with it? I know the 8800GTX fits without issue. But the newer cards may be a different matter. Not that a 8800GTX (no SLI here. X48 mobo) isn't doing well for me for now... But I am curious.

The 9800GX2 is the exact same length as the 8800GTX. I am running a 9800GX2 in a Stacker with the crossflow fan with no problems.

The 9800GX2 is just a tad longer, like maybe a millimeter or two than my 8800 Ultra. Should be an issue for you but I had an 8800 Ultra in a mini tower and it just fit. The edge was in contact with my drive cage. To get the 9800 GX2 to fit, I had to bend out the side of the drive cage a little bit.
