I can still trade up my 8800gt from EVGA for a 9800gtx.... the price is the same, so I wouldnt be spending any money, except the minor shipping fee....
reading the reviews here and other places, a lot of people say its not a major upgrade if u got a 8800 level card...
i was considering the 9800 gx2, but thats an additional 200 bucks.... what should I do? =============
if its free step up.. thats just silly =============

It's not a "major" upgrade, but it IS an upgrade and if it involves no money (except shipping fee), definitely go for it. =============
but once i "trade up" i cant trade up again? =============
It's a major upgrade from an 8800GT guaranteed. Maybe not double the FPS but close in many games at higher resolutions. =============
is evga hardcore about checking the invoice price of the card that I bought.... clubit.com doesnt have my order under my "order history" for some odd reason.... i have the invoice that was in the box, with just the date and stuff.... =============
I believe they require a copy. =============
Do it man! I'm about to do the same. Look at the benchmarks and tests... you won't regret it! =============
Make the step-up, the 98GTX is a good deal faster than a 88GT for just paying the price of shipping. Come on, only game that isn't super smooth is crysis,:rolleyes:. Mainly, the 98GTX will be better for playing games on your 24"+ TV/monitor if you chose to do that. =============
