Anyone has it? It has 110% colour range and Displayport.
I am about to get a 2707WFP and this screen surfaced for $100 more. I am wondering if it is worth it. The Black bezel is definately a plus point. =============
It has high input lag, according to some...

Is this also an issue with the 2707WFP? =============
I haven't seen to much in the way of reviews on this one and I've been looking at it as well. There was a post a couple days ago where someone got one and didn't really notice the input lag and it can be subjective to some degree. I know it's there on my 2408 but do I notice it while gaming? Not really. I'm more concerned with their comment about brightness shifts at the left and right side as if it's a viewing angle thing. And that has me looking at the NEC 2690 or waiting to see what Doublesight has in store.
But I think I've gotten to a point I'll see the general reviews and try it myself. At least with Dell, you can return things within 30 days. And I know I've been happy with this 2408. I just need a bit more dot pitch (old fogey). =============
DisplayPort is DOA. Honestly, there is no way consumers are going to accept a different digital standard between computer monitors and televisions. The two have practically become synonymous. "We're sorry, in order to connect your electronics equipment or console to your computer monitor, you have to get an HDMI-Display port adapter." Fuck that, all the way to hell. =============
Considering Dell recent record with LCD monitor, I would wait until comments from a few owners have surfaced before jumping on this one. Most of Dell's recent monitors have been plagued at launch with numerous issues (input lag, dark ghosting, banding, text fuzziness, etc..). =============
The 2709 has horrible input lag I hear. That's more than enough reason to stay away! =============
