Aight really simple question.
Costco offers 2 28" lcds... From what I have read they are both TN panels...
Currently I have a coupon so the viewsonic (Model VX2835wm) and the HannsG
(Model HG-281DPB/236036) are the same price, 499.
Well... Is there any reason to get one over the other? I found some talk around here on the HannsG but not on the viewsonic.
Well, Gaming gurus... Wanna help a brother before he taks a 28" leap :D
PS.... Yall know u rawk
O and BTW it will be for 70% gaming 30% movies/TV... and a bonus 20% web surfing (yes thats right 120 freaking %) =============
I have the 28" viewsonic, bought it from Costco in March and I love it. I went with it over the Hanns mostly due to previous experience with VS and having always liked their monitors. I've seen the Hanns in BestBuy, and to me they really didn't look any different. I'd still buy the VS again, especially if you can get it for the same price.
They are both the same exact TN panel. For gaming, I have no problems with it what-so-ever. I've only done minimal movie playing on it, so I can't really comment on that. The great thing about Costco though, if you get it and are not happy you can just return it to store for the full amount including shipping. =============
I would suggest getting a Samsung T260H for the same price and better input & 1:1 mapping. =============
Yea, but the samsung is not from Costco ; )
Anyone else have a reason to get one over the other at COSTCO cqtns.... =============
