I bought a BenQ V2400W two days ago, and it arrived today. Beautiful monitor. I have absolutely no complaints with it, except for the fact that it has a single stuck pixel in its lower-right region. The pixel is hardly noticeable until the area around it turns black. It's stuck as a semi-dark blue, thankfully, so it's not terribly distracting. I would like to remove it, however. I've run JScreenFix for 20 minutes and had no luck. I tried turning off the monitor, applying pressure to the area with a damp cloth, and turning it back on. No luck. I have not tried the screen "tapping" method with a stylus yet, for fear that it might make things worse. Should I try this method, or are there any other methods I can try? I don't really want to RMA the monitor, but I will if I have to. =============
I think removing "dead pixels" with any of "home" methods is a thing of the past. Producers would surely try them in an industrial way, they don't want to send bad LCDs to customers, do they? :) =============
