So finally went to Microcenter to look at 24" monitors, after much debate on look vs price etc I went with a Acer AL2416Wbsd for 300 bucks out the door. From the store model it had little backlight but nothing horrible, good colors etc. I was debating finding somethign with HDMI but I have no use for it and doubt i will for a long time. Plus with a 30 day in store return policy, can't go wrong :P

This with my new 4870 that arrived at work today.. I can't wait to get home

Anywho, this post has nothing to do with anything except i can't wait to get home :P If i didn't feel I had to stay late at work today to justify my 2 hour lunch to look at monitors, I would of left long ago :P

I wouldn't worry about flawed drivers. ATI knows what they got on their plate right now and they will make sure everything is going to be smooth.
