Okay here's my problem. My Gateway FPD2185W died this weekend. It was my first LCD and looked great. I'm on a budget and I am looking to replace it. I've tried the LG 2052TQ and the Samsung 2253BW. Neither of these even remotely compare to the Gateway. I've just learned this week about TN panels and S-PVA. Learned the Gateway was a S-PVA which is probably why I think it looked so much better than the other two. So my question is this: is there a TN panel that can compare at all to the Gateway I had? Also any thoughts on a new monitor for me in the $250-350 CAD price range?
