Since I can't exactly remember......Whats the info on multipliers with Athlon 64/X2/Opteron chips?

Aren't all the chips, both 939 and AM2 sockets, multiplier locked, except the FX chips?

Is the FSB the only way to go with overclocking?

Is it a situation were you can't go above the set multipler for your CPU but you can go lower?

Example. CPU is 11x200Mhz. Can't use 12x200Mhz, but you can use anything 11x and lower.

For Non-FX CPU's you can go lower in multi but not higher
i dont know for Opteron but i think its the same as well
