Hey, I have a amd64 3800+ dual core chip I need to clean the thermal paste stuff off of. Can I use like rubbing alcohol or what? thanks.

Yes use a high content rubbing alcohol like above 90%. I use denatured alcohol only because it evaporates on contact. Also finger nail polish remover works well.

I used 70% lol. We'll see what happens. Looked pretty clean.
