offcourse, devs made counter-statement, but there is something going on. they did change publisher and for me thats nuff to think twice before starting hype. mind that i am big SG fan and i would love to play this game.
hmmm...googled a bit.... here....

You missed this one: the developer's response (http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=25355) =============
i said that devs made counter statement, but what else could they do after what JoWooD said? we have seen publishers put unfinished games with shitloads of bugs on market, we have seen publishers hype games that shouldnt been coded at all.... and when publisher decides not to publish game, then i somehow think they have a reason for it....and knowing publishers, its prolly cause they think it wont make them money.... i dont see any other reason why would publisher give up on game that is made on franchise like Stargate.
soooo... i am leaning toward what publisher said....
just look at dev's answer, nothing much in there acctually. so, lets not hype something that was thrown away by publisher untill we see at least demo ;) =============
