i`ve picked up a new LCD screen(LG1980) a week ago, and wanted to play BF2 a bit but it does not support the native resolution of my screen :\
is there any way to "hack" the game and add support for new resolutions? =============

Also if you have a NV video card:
Go to the control panel
Go to nView Display Settings Tab
Select Device Settings
There you should have 4 different options for handling how the image is outputted. Since my L90D+ is not great on non-native resolutions I am using that to make 1024x768 centered and not scaled. I also wanna test some games at 1280x720 :D I love widescreen! =============

you can do it on ATi cards aswell, the LG1980 does realy great on none native res`s in most games. only games with ALOT of text like wow can be a bit iffy. but i dont want to settle for a less focused, or smaller picture if i dont have too.

yeah i did that, but every time i lunch a map its doing the "shader optimization" and it gets realy annoying(can take upto 5 min on the large maps). so i was looking for a way to actualy add that res to the in game vidoe options... =============
