My ipod touch displays he wrong album Art on plenty of albums. (it's correct in iTunes)
I've found threads saying that removing the albumart from the ipod then syncing, then telling tit to include Album Art again and syncing, is a good way of rebuilding the ipod's database, but I can't actually find any option in iTunes 7 to tell it not to upload album art to the ipod. Is it something they've changed on version 7?
Any other way of rebuilding the album Art on the ipod? =============
I'd restore the iPod if I were you. =============
Not sure about Touches...here's how it works with regular 'pods: With iPod connected to iTunes, select the iPod in the Device area of the "source" column; iPod settings tabs load into the iTunes window. Click on the Music tab; at the bottom of this pane is a checkbox labeled "Display album artwork on your iPod" -- uncheck it and click the Apply button.
Now sync the iPod. Then, do all the above, but this time check the "Display artwork" button; don't forget to click the Apply button. Sync again, and art should be OK. If not, restore the iPod.... =============
Under the three tick boxes for 'Open iTunes when iPod is connected', 'Sync only checked songs and videos' and 'Manually Manage music and videos'. I don't have a 'Display Artwork button that I can see there.
In the music tab I only have 'Sync Music (>All songs and Playlists and >Selected Playlists) and under that lot 'Include music videos'. Nothing else under there about artwork either.
I'm gonna try restoring it (Just tried and an 'unknown error occured'?!?) =============
A proper restore fixed it! (though for a while litteraly half the albums appeared to be without any artwork, but after clicking on an album and back out again they all caught up! =============

The touch does not have this option and as you have found out requires a Restore to fix it. =============
