Hi,
I just updated to the latest itunes. And now if i press delete it just goes, i don't get the 'send to the recycle bin or keep files' thing at all.
How can i get this back?
Thanks =============
I would like to know how you got there, because I would love to turn off that confirmation message. =============
I don't know how it happened, its just i cannot date something and send tit o the recycle bin, i don't even get a warning.
Please can someone help me. I need that message again the allows you to either keep the files or not when deleting something.
Thanks =============
When you right click on a tune and choose Delete to you at least get the window that says "Are you sure you want to remove the selected song from your iTunes library?"
Note on that window there is a check box for "Do not ask me again." Perhaps you accidentally checked that? How to uncheck that now I do not know but I'll search around. Perhaps someone else knows. =============
Actually, it seems that this has been an issue for folks for a long while now.

This even older post might offer a clue. It definitely jarred my memory as it turns out I was experiencing the same issue you are now - perhaps. :-)

If the song you want to delete is not in your iTunes library you won't get the choice to send it to your recycle bin.
Are your deleted songs ending up in the recycle bin? If no, this is your issue. Before I switched to letting iTunes manage my library I experienced this issue as well. After I would delete the song from iTunes I would have to go to the folder via Explorer and delete it from my HD manually. Now that I let iTunes manage my library I always get the choice to keep the file or send it to the recycle bin. =============
