Hey all, this drives me nuts: When I'm working on my library in iTunes, and playing music at the same time, every time a new song starts playing, the window snaps away from what I'm working on to the new song. Any way to prevent this? Probably not as this is a high quality Apple product with that impeccable user interface :shake: but I thought I'd ask anyway. TIA.

But perhaps Preferences -> Advance -> UNCHECK Keep MiniPlayer on top of all windows, does the trick?

I completley HATE that too. What I do, is create a regular playlist for the album (or many albums) that I will be listening to, then I double click on the playlist name so that it opens in another window. Then hit "play" on the playlist window so that the song is playing from there instead of the main library that Im working on.

That keeps the music playing and leaves my window alone so I can fix tags, add artwork, etc. This may not work too well if you want to listen to music on "shuffle" mode. But you could always make a random selection of music, create a playlist with it, and do what I said above.

I use party shuffle, set it to pull from the library, and add songs to the que as I like.
