I dont seem to get it, i tought i was suppose to get support from apple by any problems with my ipod. The problem is the right side of my ipod earphones has gotten a static annoying sound when im listening to my ipod (5g). I called apple on friday, and they told me they were going to send me new ones either yesterday or today, and it hasnt camed. Now, i tried to do the request online, and its asking me to put a credit card there and to check on the box where it says i a gree to send back my ipod earphones that came with it or i will be charged 20 dollars.
As of now, i dont have a credit card, and i really want to be able to use good earphones because it is annoying... and ive seen that many people are having that same problem here in this forum with the right side of their regular earphones of their ipods.
My sister yesterday bought a new 5g ipod and i tested her earphones to my ipod and they sound perfect as how mines supposed to work. Why has mine got like that? I need to slap steve jobs for a lil bit. =============
I think you have to pay for the shipping cost? That may be why they are for your credit card. You could just go to apple store and they will probably replace it. =============
They ask for your credit card in case you don't send the other ones back. It's unfortunate but they can't trust most people to just send back the bad ones. =============
People have been abusing the system by ordering new iPod buds when they had perfectly fine earbuds. It's a shame that they had to make it harder for everyone because of those people.
Ask for your parent's credit card. If you send it back in, then you won't be charged. =============
