My warranty will be over next month, and I want to know if I can send my ipod with this problem.
I keep seeing the Ipod logo after that, the folder with exclamation point and then it will die down. I also hear my hard drive try to spin but can't so it will stop. I try to restore it, for a second it work since it transferring song again but then it freezes on the middle while transferring so I have to do reset it again. After i reset it the apple logo appear and then that exclamation folder and all the songs are gone. I just keep repeating this step. My ipod also heat up easily.
Should I send it? Thank you in advance =============
I think you hard drive is about to pack it in, I would definitely send it in now.
They should cover what you have explained. ;) =============
Thank you so much for replying! ~_~ I just fix it, I have the song transfer one by one (playlist) and when it gets warmer I'll unhook it let it cool down and then transfer again. It still freezes but after I reset it the songs are still on my ipod. The only problem now is the clicking noise still there and my song sometimes skipped to another song plus it gets warmer and warmer everytime i use it. Should I still send it? =============
Should you sent it in?
Do you really need to ask advice on this?
Your warranty is about to end and you're spending all your time trying work-arounds in order to get it to work, and most of the time it doesn't.
So what do you think? Perhaps you should just wait until your warranty runs out then the decision will have been made for you. =============
Yes please, do yourself a favour and send it in. They will replace it with a new one that will work better. =============
