I was making a foolish attempt at replacing my LCD screen, and I went to pop the tab up to release the LCD connector and pretty much all of the white tab broke off. I looked and there appears to be some times of gold lines so I'm thinking that helps in the connection part and now that it's broken I'm screwed. Are these important or can I just tape the connector the the tab and it still work?
