I have a 4G Ipod with a toasted HDD and am wondering if there is an adaptor out there to to attach a standard 2.5" laptop HDD to the IPOD. I realize the drive would not fit properly physically, but that is not of concern as this would be permanently located in my car in the event I can get it fixed.

I have searched the net near and far on this and can only find people soldering their own/etc.

Any thoughts?

Since ppl solder their own, it's obviously possible. Your thread should had read, Pre-made 2.5" HDD to 4G iPod.

Did a quick google/eBay, none. Good luck with your search.
