Hi, my ipod is dead, but I'm not convinced it's the harddrive and there's stuff on the harddrive I'd like to retrieve. Does anyone know of an adaptor I can use if I pull the harddrive out of the ipod? It's a 1.8 in harddrive isn't it? So 1.8 in harddrive to usb or directly inside the box? I have 2 PCs, one with IDE and one with SATA. Or to a laptop via pmcia? I have range of options if only I can find an adaptor and I have been searching.

The cheapest would be an IDE (3.5) to iPod Drive (1.8) adapter. Tons. Just google or eBay my man.
