I have had a 30G for a year now. a while a go, i started to hear static creep up behind the music, then it totally overtook the music. All you can hear is static. If you leave the Ipod off for a while, then turn it back on, you can get a short while of music before the static comes back. the longer you leave it off, the longer you get music. I was only wondering if anyone else had this same problem. Everything else works fine, always kept it protected and properly charged. But i am at wits end with this static, you cant hear anytihng else. Any info on waht to do next, weather its a simple reformatting of the Ipod, or if i need to send it for repair, any info is appreiciated. thank you!
