Hey guys, maybe someone can figure this one out. Turned on the iPod and got the unhappy face with the "x" eyes. Restarted the iPod in disc mode, and iTunes was able to recognize it. While I was restoring it, my internet went down midway through. Since then, iTunes has not been able to recognize it and the iPod icon will not appear on the desktop. My workstation is a G4 running OSX version 10.3.9. After about 5 minutes of my iPod being connected, the disk Utility will appear telling me I have a new drive that needs to be initialized. It does recognize that it is a 60 gb iPod. I took it to the Mac store, and one of the mac genius techs told me it may be a bad drive. That seems suspicious if my disc utility recognizes it. Anyone have a clue? I would really appreciate the help .
Thanks,
