I have a last generation ipod classic and have been having some trouble with it. I had it serviced a while back by sending it into apple but the problem continues.
I am considering calling apple and requesting they replace the ipod but here is my question. Will they replace it with a current generation ipod classic? Thanks. =============
no you will get the older generation rehurbshed =============
Yeah, thats what I thought. I am interested in getting one of the new generation ipods (as unnecessary as it may be). If I do fix the problems I am having is there an y type of trade in deal that apple offers? =============
Realistically, no. I think Apple will offer you $10 back for your old iPod as a "recycling incentive" but you're actually better off to just sell it on eBay or somesuch. =============

Its actually 10% off your next iPod
because I took my old first gen shuffle with a dead battery to the apple store in Eaton Center and then bought a 16gb touch for my sister(she paid for it...i was just getting for it)
and then gave them the dead shuffle and got 10% off =============
...and did Apple mention that you have to use that discount the day of? Oh, wow they did. Well that sucks. =============
