So I've got a 4th gen 20 gig that died and I figured out that the hard drive went bad. No problem because I found a website that sold new replacement hard drives for $50, so naturally I ordered one. The hard drive came in, I hooked it up and everything was working great, I had a bunch of songs loaded up etc... A couple days ago the Ipod started locking up and causing issues, I tried the 5 r's but still no dice. Now my computer wont recognize my Ipod, I know it's not an issue with my USB ports because I have a 5th gen video Ipod that works fine. My question is, with a new hard drive why would I have issues with the ipod??? Because I can't get my computer to read the Ipod I can't update anything on the Ipod. Please Help!! =============
