Well my iPod just got a big blob on the screen and i was wondering if theres a way it can fix without going to the store.. =============
Hi and welcome to iLounge.
Just to clarify, what do you mean by "big blob"? Basically, a large section of bluish "leaking" inside the screen regardless of which menu you're on? If so, this is a broken LCD, unfortunately, and cannot be fixed without replacing the LCD, which means taking it in for repair or replacement. =============
Well like i can still listen to music but i cant see anything, the like still comes on when i press something. I think its cracked, it happened by fall. =============
Yes, it's very likely cracked. The LCD will need to be replaced. There's really no other way to fix it.
Unfortunately, physical damage such as this isn't normally covered by a standard warranty, although some extended warranties from other stores might provide this as additional coverage. You can try taking it back to where you originally got it from and see what happens, but it's likely you'll have to either buy a new unit, or send it away to get it repaired. =============
what kind of iPod is it? There are several sites that offer replacement screens either for self installation (not hard on older ipod's) and many sites have professional installation options as well. =============
