Heya i have broken ipod used to come up with the file and ! symbol then finaly stoped working. The thing is my comp had all my songs on but had system restore and lost them all so only now on broken ipod i wanted to no if anyone knew a place/site that will extract the songs off on to any drive or cd/dvd. apple store will only repair but will erase all songs on it i dont care if its broken into million pieces all i want is the songs off it if someone could help please. :o

Just to add a example: when police extract data from crimnals hard drives computers when smashed up or burnt. so my thinking there must be a prosess that enables you to do this
