I phoned Apple and they told me after updating the purchase date (done) I should fill out the online repair form (emailing me the link http://depot.info.apple.com/ipod/) to get the hard drive fixed as it had been clicking, not syncing, and everything pointed to a hardware problem.
The problem is there doesn't seem to be an option for this under "Please select the component that is experiencing the issue." all it says is "Accessories, switches or click wheel, display, sound power."
Where am I supposed to go?
(It's an 80gb ipod video.) =============
What I did was use any one of the items and then explained what my actual problem was in the comments section.
I also put in some feedback (http://www.apple.com/feedback/) pertaining to the changes made as to not having any options to choose from that are in line with what a persons complaint. I don't like how they have change the available options for service.
I'm gonna have to send my 80GB in again because I'm still experiencing the same exact problem as before. I think they changed the outside casing and use the same HD from the other iPod I sent them or it seems that way. =============
