So basically I just got an iLuv speaker/alarm system for my iPod, using it today, when I pressed off, I checked my ipod and it has a picture saying "Charged" with the battery, and then the play time 2:50 and -1:24 on the right side (which should only show up when playing a song).

It's just stuck like this, and when I put it to my ear it's making a whirring sound. I've tried turning it off, plugging it in, etc, but there's just nothing that will make it unjam. Do I just wait until the battery runs out?

I think this happened to me once before (the jamming, but not exactly the same), and it worked once the battery ran out and I recharged it. Do any of you know what might have gone wrong and even if letting the battery drain works, should I still take it in to get checked out?
