Hello

I own the original Ipod Video and the screen seems to have corrupted. Everything is covered in faint lines with a thicker line down the middle. The Ipod is actually still working and plays music fine (though you can hardly see what your playing/selecting.

So presumably i need to replace the screen. It's out of warrenty now. I have noticed companys on the net where you can send your IPOD away and they will replace the screen. The going rate seems to be about ?0. What I need to know has this happened to anyone else? I presume the thing is faulty and theres no other way to resolve other than replace the screen.

If anyone else has experienced this, which company did you use and did you get good service as I'm a tad nervous about sending my POD away!!
