does anyone know if/has anyone tired to use any kind of ipod polish like the radtech ice creme version two or applesauce polish on the iphones chrome bezel to remove scratches?? does anyone know if it is safe?

Nope, and to be honest I wouldn't waste my time or money. For one thing I don't really believe they'd be all that effective (I certainly can't see you getting your mirror finish restored) and also because what you're really doing is removing another thin layer of chrome.

If you're bothered about scratches on the back of your iPod you'd be better off investing in an Invisible Shield to prevent them in the first place....
