I really like working out to videos. I'm too lazy to actually go out and purchase them, so I use all my mother's old ones--many of them are from the 80s/early 90s and MAN are they funny! In this one step aerobic one, one of the girls (who's wearing a bright yellow and black suit thing) comes into the studio wearing a jean BUM jacket. Really brings me back. I love making fun of the people in videos. The only problem is that if you do one too much, like I used to do, you start to memorize it, and you start dreading the hard parts, and pretty soon you just give up completely because it drives you insane to do the tape again. I think this time, because I have many tapes and other aerobic excersizes that don't involve tapes, I won't do that. Of course, once I'm at school I won't be able to do them at all, but oh well. What do you all think about using videos? =============
i used to use buns of steel III. it was hard as shit.
and yes. i, too, memorized it. the music was/is so cheesy.
my girlfriend owns the beginner and advanced tae bo tapes and i'm tempted to try them out ... just for a change. =============
I tried a Susan Powter tape the other day...she CRAZAY! She ran around, pointing things out and the camera people attempted to do interesting things..haha. And, the workout was very sad and hardly rose my heart rate at all.
I just hope I never resort to delving into my mother's library of Richard Simmons tapes :m =============
I have a collection of Kathy Smith videos. I bought them at target because they were cheap and I didn't think that Kathy Smith looked cheesy. I thought she was annoying at first, but now Kathy is my friend. Lol.
I live in the UK now and I can't get my Kathy Smith videos anymore, but when I visit my sister in Jan I'll have to go raid target and bring back more tapes.
My favorite one is functionally fit fat burning and the fat burning time saver workout. :O =============
