Just curious . . . wha doez everee do physicallee-wize to reach deir goal/stay in shape?

I get up, sit around for a half hour, then do usually an hour of cardio and strength training sometimes. I either go jogging, do a workout video, or do my own dance/aerobic thing. I usually don't decide until the morning of--helps me keep with the program if I can do what I feel like for that day.

Fer me I do -

Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday:
30 minutes crosstrainer
15 jogging
1 - 2 hours legs and arms weight training

Monday, Wednesday, Friday:
30 minutes cross trainer
10 minutes stairmaster
30ish minutes ab-work

Metinks I need a new routine - dis one is gittin' borrrrrin'!

I've been rather lazy this summer, but when I am working out I follow the Body for Life routine pretty closely. I normally do weights Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and 20 minutes interval cardio Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Sometimes I'll add 1/2 hour cardio after my weight workout. Sunday is my day to relax and eat whatever I want. :p

i hear ya, pulcheria! (saturday is MY day off!!)

here's my routine:

MonWedFri ... 20-minutes cardio (i walk fast on the treadmill for about 10 minutes then i jog/run for the rest of the time.)

SunTuesThur ... i alternate between upper body and lower body every other day. (quads, calves and back ... biceps, triceps, shoulders and abs)

i'm starting a new workout plan monday (if I can get better from this sinus infection by then!):

Monday, Wednesday, Friday--25 minutes running/walking in the morning before work. I'm still really new to running, so I can't run anywhere NEAR 25 minutes, but i'm going to work on increasing my endurance.

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday--upper and lower body weight training. I'm really focusing on my arms and abs. I'm also gonna try to do some sort of cardio on these days, depending on how much time I have.

Sunday-- day off! whew!

I try to do cardio everyday for 30 minutes. Abs and weight machines every other day for 1/2 hour. Yoga once a week. And BREAD is evil. :) lol...Just thought I'd add that!

3 to 5 days a week i do cardio for 30 to 60 minutes depending on how i am feeling. i either run, swim, bike or do the elliptical. On Tuesday and Thursdays i do arms and upper body muscle toning, Monday and Wednesday i do leg and butt toning. I like to mix things up, otherwise i get bored and end up not doing anything which is definitely not a good thing. I always find that i feel so much better after a good work out. :)
