On the back of my upper arms there are hundreds of little bumps. They don't itch but it looks bad like rosacia or something. Sometimes I can squeeze stuff out of the bumps but most of them I can't. I have had this for years and it gets worst in the winter. WHAT IS THIS?

wow...i don't know. i didn't think rosacia was like that. then again, i'm not too familiar with that skin disorder. check out www.webmd.com and type in your symptoms...maybe they'll come up with something??
good luck! =============
from what you've described, i think i've seen this on a lot of people's upper arms, all females.. my sister and a couple of my friends have them. i've never noticed it on a guy. I have no idea what it is (see how helpful i am? :l), but you're not alone. If you find out what it is, please post here.. i'd like to know also =============
I have that too. Have since maybe 6th-ish grade? I call 'em my "acne arms."
They are why I don't go in public sleeveless. Because I'm self-concious about them... :a =============
Bah, I have those things on my arms too! I thought I was the only one. My doctor gave me Retin-A for it, I'll let you all know if it does anything or not. I found that exfoliating helps them a little. =============
I accidently found out what this is... Keratosis pilaris.

Guess who's gonna have to look for a beta hydroxy acid product next time she's at WalMart??
GREAT info! Thanks Jade!! :O =============
I bought those gloves that you can use in the shower- they work well. And go for a cheap one vik, they work just as well. =============
Does the glove have the beta hydroxy acid, or do you just use the glove to apply it? =============
Without having done research,
I'm pretty sure of what you have without asking the church...
You may have a weak tolerance to acid in food,
If you take a lot of juice and eat tomatoes, you are screwed...
This happens to me too,
Winter can also be a factor because of the dryness, this is true.
I say see your doctor, but don't worry too much,
You won't die of it or anything as such...

I'm going to say it's most likely Keratosis Pilaris.
I too have it. I hate it. But my mother won't get me a prescription because they will most likely give me a steriod cream.
Moisturizers with AHA's do help. I have one from Avon that I use. However, I would recommend using one at night. I've read that using an AHA and then going into sunlight isn't good for your skin.

Check out that link she listed for options other than steriod.... =============
