Hi, was wondering if anyone's using a Rotel RA-04 intergrated amplifier? Would like to seek any personal feedback on this amp... :)

Drop by Alpha or Asia Sound for a try. I've never come across a rude Rotel before. They sound so balanced sometimes even Electrocompaniet and Cello can sound a little euphonic comparatively.
That's my 2 cents. ;) =============
I went down to KEC last Sunday with a friend, tested the RA-06 (they don't have RA-04 in their store) with a pair of Morduant Short bookshelves...he took it all in, hook..line and sinker, went back home a happy man with his new setup.
I think I will be bringing my AE1s down for a little trial on the RA-06 pretty soon..... :D =============
Hey ratbert,
what's the price of the Rotel RA-06? Or if you know what's the price for RA-04?
Appreciate any input. =============

thanks for info man!
I love music, good music reproduction, but I know nothing about these mid/high end systems. There's lots of those home theatre amplifier setup that require the use of subwoofers. Do you think with the RA-04/06 I require a subwoofer as well, or a good Wharfdale 91/92 speakers will do? I would mostly use the setup for music/CD listening.
But maybe I would like to connect to connect my dvd/plasma setup for better sound output. 5.1 is NOT something that I must have. Or should I just buy a 5.1 system, and it would play cd/music just as well as the RA-04/06?
Thanks for the advise guys!

up to you. Most importantly is that the sound must be suitable to your liking.
