I've been on this website for quite a while now and I hope I can get some advice from you all on the best way ahead with an idea I've got.....

I run Magazine Subscription (http://www.magazinesubscription.co.uk) website which as you guessed list magazine subscriptions. At the moment I don't have any direct deals with magazines or publishers, all the magazines are listed via 3rd parties publishing house websites.

Some of these companys have over 600 magazines on their books, and some magazines are sold by various publishers allowing me to give a price comparision between them.

As an affiliate of those companies I earn a commission on any magazines sold.

I have been sent emails from several magazines asking how their magazines can be added to my site, these magazines are are normally independant. Upto now I have told them that I go through affiliate networks and referred them on.

I now wish though to offer a service where their magazines are added to the website with a direct agreement with myself. If a person clicks on buy or subsribe, they are taken to the website of the magazine company so all payments etc are taken then. This would save me (1 man band) dealing with payments and customer problems etc..

my questions are..

1) How much should I charge to add their magazine?

This would get them listed with a page showing there cover and a description of the magazine. I would also add them onto the featured rotating home page.

2) Should I charge per sale (tracked by them) or a flat monthly/yearly fee per magazine added.

The latter would be my preferred choice.

I appreciate theres not alot of info above but any quidance would be great.

Also, finally, what would be the best way to marketing this approach?

Should the above be successful do you think there would be a telesales or marketing company that would be able to get in touch with the various magazine companies directly and earn commission from me per magazine addition they helped me acheive?
