Hi guys
My mate has done a rear diff centre in his 2004 Hilux 3.0l Diesel Dual Cab ute.
its a long story , but its a mess, so it would be easier for him and cheaper to just find a used one.
Anyone know what ratio it is likely to be and what will go in it as a replacement out of other models.......
Its not out of his truck yet so can't count the teeth, but its a standard truck with no mods...... =============
harb tell him to drop into his local toyota dealership with the axle code, or you could call. i have been through this myself and everyone will have an opinion and tell you to look up the axle code, being in spare parts myself i suggest going straight to toyota, it is what i had to do in the end and i should of went there first. once you know what it is call franks auto wreckers out smithfield way and ask for todd, he is the manager and he always looks after me. i can find the number if you like, let me know.
cheers

The transaxle code plate is riveted to the firewall with all the information u need to find out the ratio, Just have a look, If it is a manual it shud say sumthin similar to R151 G285, its the G*** part u r after. Then refer to this toyota gearchart to find ur ratio.
