Hey guys, my sis wants an auto single cab 2wd 4cyl hilux year 1994-2000 and there are a heap of them around but are all manual, my question is, how hard is it to change the manual gearbox to an Auto, and if so how mush usually and are there many mechanical changes that need to be made to the engine ect ect, any help appreciated

If their all manual, where do you plan on finding an auto box to suit?

probably have to wire in a starter inhibitor switch, may have to make up some new mounts. dont no havent seen many auto hilux's, come to think about it, only seen one that i can think of and havent seen under it

at the end of the day mate.. If you do not know.. its going to be too hard..

or too expensive.. buy a car that has what you want already, or you'll end up with a car thats way over priced, that you'll never get your money back, with ongoing problems, that will cost to get repaired continually, if you cannot fix it yourself.
