Alright, heres the deal, just put on Dunlop Starspecs on my 02 WRX with Enkei 17in rims. The car, after two alignments and numerous tire rotations (directional tires, just from to back), pulls to the right HARD. The mechanics say my car is fine, something is wrong with the tires. Discount tire says something might be wrong with 1 tire, but they can' pinpoint which one. They have never worked with awd cars before.
So, how do I pinpoint which tire/s is/are the issue? I spent way to much money on these d*** tires to have my car ride this way! =============
had the same problem with a set of bfg's i put on a wagon. alignment was on the money so i knew it was a tire problem. what i had to do was buy one more tire, and install it on the l.f. then check the pull. then repeat that for all 3 other corners till the pull was corrected. trial and error. kind of a pain in the butt. good luck. =============
does it pull reguardless of where the tires are? if its a tire issue the pull should go away when that tire is on the rear of the car. i know it would be a pain since they're directional but you might have to cross rotate the 2 fronts (dismount and remount) to see if it pulls the other way. thats reallly the only way to single out the tire. =============
maybe you should go somewhere else if the tire guys can't diag the tires. =============

uhm he stated that the tires were directional so unless he wants to pay to have the tires dismounted, mounted and balanced again then they just do it front to rear =============
