I have recently begun searching for new tires. I'm looking for a 255/35/18 and was surprised by the prices due to the lower profile. I had heard from a few friends to check out federal 595's but after looking into it I was a little wary due to not having heard of them ever before. I recently had an experience with the tires though and was generally impressed with them. I am wondering a few things about them before I go an buy them. First is, do these tires run wide in their sizes as some of the other low-cost performance tires do? I was thinking of using a 245 for fender clearance so a 255 would have to be exact or I'm pretty sure I'll rub. I have also heard that the sidewalls on these tires can run large. When people say that, how much larger is it generally?
