hey im looking at getting some rota g-force rims. they are 17x8. Ok, the story is i have some basically brand new continental 225/45/17 tires. they were taken off my mothers bmw because they are not all seasons. (lucky me!!!) i have looked and tire rack says that the 225 is recommended on an 8 inch wide rim. i wanted to double check and see what you all think.
Also i have read somewhere that you cannot use stock lugs on rota rims. is this true?
thanks

Those tires should fit just fine.
For the wheels i would check the manufacture's recomendations. You probably should use tuner lugs made for aftermarket wheels. You can get them at autozone or pepboys if you need them right away. =============
A 225/45/17 will fit very well on the 17x8 G-Force wheel.
I recommend an aftermarket tuner lug for all Rota wheels. The tuner style lugs have a large contact patch that will secure the wheels properly. We have some really nice wheel/lug specials going right now, shoot me a PM if you have any questions :)
