Looking at getting advan RS 18x9's +29. i know some are saying 245's fit easily with no mods to the fenders, an a few have said all the way up to a 265. looking to see what others are running. if i can do a 265 with a lil fender rolling or even less that would be great.... thanks for any info!

I fit 285s but I have a reasonable offset wheel, unlike yourself. I think a 245 is about the max you can go on stock suspension with that offset. Fender rolling will gain you nearly another 1/2 of clearance in the rear too.

thanks for the info. bump up for anyone else?

isn't the stock 08 sti tire size a 245?

I would like to know the answer to this question as well as I am going to help my friend put some fatties on his 08 sti and was looking to put 18x9.5's on it. Obviously you would need a stretched tire size but what offset would you need with a 18x9 and 18x9.5 to fit with no fender rolling? Or is fender rolling a must at that size? Sorry for the threadjack but bump for you!
=============
yeah stock rim is 18x8.5 an 245/40's

but no worries about the hijack, seems were after the same answer :)
=============
Does anyone know that stock offset for the 08 STI wheels?

I'm assuming +48mm, but am not finding it in any of the spec sheets or brochures I've looked at.

Sorry again to hijack. Just need an offset comparo for other wheels/tires.
