well yesterday i was cleaning my msp and was pissed at my vision autodynamics carbon fiber evo hood because its fading on the edges near the windshield. so after some disapointment i went on detailing, took some turtle wax "wet n' black" tire shine and was spraying down the plastic in front of the windshield. needless to say i got some overspray on the corner of the hood and the "haze" dissapeared. so i continued on spraying down the hood and it all went away. i was thinking "sure it looks good now but tomorrow it'll be back to crap." i woke up this morning and it still looks great. (shocked) so im sure it wont last to much longer but i figured id let everyone know for a quick fix, maby a complete fix. im goin to look into this product called "back to black" that we used on my wifes x-terra and see what happens. =============
when you say fading your talking about clouding correct? =============

It needs sanded down and re-shot with clear....All CF should be cleared when you get it..UNLESS its already been Cleared with something that has a UV inhibitor.
Most CF items are just coated with the resin which is not resilient to UV rays....These rays break down the resin and cause clouding.
Its well worth the money to have these items cleared when they are new..It will save a lot of headaches down the road. =============
