well i just got a MSP a couple days ago. everything is stock, and runs good. but when i open it up the turbo has a hesitation to it, like a stutter or skip in a scense, it also sounds like it has a BOV but does not? i am just wondering what you guys think the problem with the boost is?

Hesitation is a known issue with these cars only thing i can tell you is take to the dealership if its stock and get the ECU update. *UNLESS* you plan on moding the vehicle then get an AFC right away this car has a pretty bad factory tune that is very rich.

This can be so many things please be as descriptive as possible about this issue. Could also be a bad WGA like mine...

the the motor is smooth and the boost is strong, the turbo just seems to hesitate when the throttle is opened up, i have only drove it once sence i am in the middle of the buying process. the boost starts out strong then during acceleration the boost skips, like the boost drops a couple psi then comes back to full.

Do you know for sure the boost is dropping? Or does it just feel like the car is stuttering? If the latter, then it's probably hesitation from a rich fuel map. I had the same problem, and so has everyone else pretty much. I got the splitsec AFC a week ago and haven't had problems with the stuttering feeling since.

what youve described is normal for MSPs...

you wont notice it in the colder months, and you learn to either love it or fix it.

my wallet made me love it :p

unless you have a boost guage in the car and can read the boost dropping, Id say it is infact the normal hesitation.

totally normal for an MSP...if you plan on modifying your msp then dont worry about it and get a split second AFC, Unichip, MPI, Microtech or someother solution to EMS. If you just want a daily driver...try to return it before it's too late...
