hey i have a 02 wrx with sti swap cp pistons, fully built auto in progress, stage 4 ported heads, ur 1000 cc's, crower 272's, valve springs, ti retainers, ferrera valves, lots and lots. i already own an access port for it but ar fabrication told me i can have more hp extracted via utec. which do you suggest? i need to know ASAP so IF i end up switching i can get my AP sold and UTEC here asap. summer is NEAR and car needs to be finished! thanks! -:devil:

Well if you are going to use the 16-bit WRX ecu, the answer is simple.....

Go with the UTEC and make sure it is one that runs speed density.

Yeah, the 2.0L WRX ecus are 16bit and the 2.5L WRX/STI/LGT/FXT ecus are 32bit (and a hell of a lot better).

Nope. Perhaps you should go and post on http://www.mnsubaru.com in the classifieds section. However, a lot of the guys are looking to ditch their APs so it might be hard to sell.

Heh, the Honda guys are slow.....you'll need to step up to the guys who trailer their cars in to spring street. Head down to Firestone on any Friday night this summer before 11pm and you'll meet plenty of us.

I know of another 40r build that is going to be just as sick....this summer will be pretty fun.
