How do you go wireless with the Utec? I was looking for a wireless 9 pin serial port - USB but I can't find one. Any input would be greatly appriciated:D

Just did a search, there's no eiser/cheaper way other than bulky wireless boxes or bluetooth? Anybody know if they make a serial port to usb adapter? I would think that I could use that and then get a wireless USB to USB!! Am I wrong?

Ok, but after I get that is there any way to hook up a wireless USB to USB???

Meaning the adapter and one end of the wireless USB would stay with the Utec and the other end of the wireless USB would be connected to the laptop!

Is this even possible?

I like a nice clean install and would prefer not to have to cut a hole in my carpet trying to route the serial cable or have it visible.

Understandable. I have a UTEC. I didn't have to cut any holes. I just ran the cable around the carpet, and then tuck it inside the center console. On the passanger side left leg plate. If that doesn't help let me know and I will take a pic for you.

....overcomplication leads to the path of ****ups+1. I just ran my cable under the carpet, along the door, under the passenger seat and out the existing hole in the carpet under there. Then you could just pull the cable out and up to the passenger seat for logging/tuning.

But now that I've got the TXS Tuner mounted in my dash, I can just plug in directly to that.
