I had a friend just tell me that he went to subaru and got the SPT short ram intake and they reflashed his ecu. It cost him $900 i pretty much laughed in his face. I never heard of Subaru dealers reflashing. Is this something new? Either way there is no way i'd pay $900 for a short ram and a "dealer" reflash.

seriously, grab a tactrix cable (or borrow one) and pull the rom off that car and see what the deal is with it.
