Hey, we've been having trouble tuning my car without a wideband/afr and my roommate offered to sell me his Greddy afr that he isn't using. It has the control unit that allows the ability to plug into the stock ecu. My questions is, would the UTEC be able to read it then so that we could log readings while doing pulls? I couldn't think of any reason why not, but I'm a noob when it comes to tuning etc... =============
If you hook the greddy AFR to the stock ECU you won't get much better readings since the UTEC just says RICH anytime the AFR gets richer than 12:1 when reading from the ecu. You would be better off by buying a Innovate LC-1 and using UTI to read it in parallel with UTEC logging. =============
Thanks, that was the other plan, this one was just quicker. =============
