last night i noticed the minor swirled scracthes on the hood and roof of my car that most cars end up getting. I just had it washed and it was sitting underneath a light in a parking lot and the blemishes just jumped out at me. i know there are products out there that could help correct them but I am unsure what to use. Any help is appreciated =============
There are dozens of products, tools and methods and just as many opinions as to what works best. What it boils down to is how much you are willing to invest (i.e. time, effort, money) and what are your expectations. Take a look at the articles in the following link:

Don't worry.... The articles on that site are realtively short but full of information. I think you'll have a better understanding of the process and perhaps have a good idea of what you may need to achieve the results you are looking for. Personally, I would browse through their forums since your solution is more likely to be found there. =============
Ive used meguiars products, XMT, and poorboys on my PC with lake country pads. So far I like my Poorboys the best. Its my go-to polish. =============
I just used the porter cable buffer with the adams swirl and haze remover and the adams revive polish with the lake country pads and it came out great..got all the swirls out. I have pictures posted on this page, check them out:
