superglue paint

AAAH. How do I get this junk off? It's really caked on there, a previous owner had some fun with rebadging the car and used super glue to stick on "impreza".

Now the emblem is gone, but the glue is there.

Halp.

may take a number of applications to get it all off, but it works well.
=============
Clay it....over and over again.

My buddy had some crazy glue on his car and yesterday started cleaning it off. After 4-5 passes with the claybar, he was starting to make some progress. Probably would take 10-15 passes to get it off completely. This was just a little spot though, size of a dime or smaller

you can also use super glue de-bonder. it can be found in most craft or hobby stores.

It's deep, deep, deep into the clearcoat at this point. I think I'm screwed.
=============
try nail polish remover... seriously.
=============
Hammer and chisel, carefully. Poof (clang), all better.

Use thinner, acetone, nail polish remover (+1 to the above post), or a specialty product and it will come right off.

^ if you go this route do not let it sit on your paint for very long i.e. no longer than say 10 seconds. wipe it off with a quick detailer or glass cleaner type of product not just a towel or water.

+1 that stuff is insanely abrasive

I say clay it a lot to get off as much as you can with it. And then try go to a detailer, tell him to use some intensive polish, then a finishing polish. After that, if it's still there, it's time to wet sand and possibly get some new paint.

Things I've tried:
Boiling Water
Goof off and similar products
Razor blades
Clay Bar
Sandpaper
