How much are piston and ring kits for RG150's? Think mine is about due as it feels much more sluggish in comparison to Jamezo's bike

Oh and BTW, You are right about the CBR being heaps faster than a 150 .... i couldnt get over the power difference between my mates KR 150 with a aftermarket pipe and my CBR...........

Talked to Tony_B (Motoequip) before this thread but he has nothing for me unfortunately (except TF185 pistons...). He did have RGV piston kits but they don't suit the RG

As for the 150s being slower, I'm not so sure now. Jamezo's bike blew my mind. Haven't had such a big grin since I rode that EC400. The CBR definately has the straight line speed, but I think if you kept the revs up on the RG you'd give those 250s a hard time. His bike was nuts past 8000rpm

Well I won't be able to afford sorting out the piston for a while so I might just be staying in the mid pack for the first few races. Although knowing me I'm likely to go a bit harder around the corners to keep up and crash :p

ok, yea well the one i rode (kr150) was paethetic. My scooter could just about beat it to 50..........

Could've been. My RG was pretty gutless when one of the powervalves was stuck open. It runs pretty well now but it's not as quick as Jamezo's bike
