I have just done a search on a debtor on his house and he isnt listed on the title deeds. But this is added on the charge section in his favour.

I need to know in legal terms what it is?

I would appreciate if you can advise.

It means he has an interest in the property previously called a class F charge ie he doesn't own it but the house cannot be sold without him knowing about it. It does not mean he has entitlement to equity simply that he may have, without knowing about the court orders this charge tells you very little.
